90° Short Radius Elbow - Butt-Weld Pipe Fitting
Where space is limited, our 90° short radius (SR) butt-weld elbow provides a compact change of direction with a centre-to-end radius equal to the nominal pipe size (1.0D). This tight radius makes the SR elbow the preferred choice for equipment clearances, compressor packages, pump skids and confined pipe racks where every millimetre of footprint counts.
Each elbow is supplied with factory-machined weld-end bevels prepared to ASME B16.25 for full-penetration butt welding. Every fitting carries heat-number traceability and is available with EN 10204 3.1 material test certificates to satisfy UK site quality requirements.

Which sizes and schedules are available?

What is the difference between a short radius and a long radius 90° elbow?
A short radius (SR) elbow has a centre-to-end dimension A equal to 1.0 times the nominal pipe size, whereas a long radius (LR) elbow has A equal to 1.5 times NPS. The SR elbow fits into a smaller footprint but generates a higher pressure drop, so it is best suited to low-velocity services and tight spaces while the LR elbow is preferred for high-flow mainlines.
